Cellulose pouches containing nicotine, with no tobacco and no combustion. They are placed under the upper lip for 20 to 30 minutes. They produce no smoke or smell. This category is growing fast in Spain and the regulations are under review: we always state the strength in mg and review our range every quarter. Over-18s only.
What are nicotine pouches?
A nicotine pouch is a small cellulose pouch containing nicotine, water, flavourings and plant fibres, placed between the lip and the gum. It contains no tobacco and there is no combustion or vapour, so it is neither smoked nor vaped: the nicotine is absorbed through the lining of the mouth for the 20 to 30 minutes it stays in place. It is the fastest-growing format in Spain, with the industry association forecasting a 60% rise in sales in 2026.
They are classified by strength, in milligrams per pouch, and by flavour. As with all other nicotine products, sale to under-18s is prohibited. If you are looking for a vapour format, see refillable pod kits or disposable vapes.
