If you smoke shisha regularly, a pack works out quite a bit cheaper per kilo. It keeps perfectly in its box as long as you store it somewhere dry.
How much you save buying charcoal in packs
Charcoal is the only recurring cost of a shisha, so buying it in large formats is the most direct way to bring down the cost per session. In the 5 kg packs the price per kilo is €0.50 lower than a single box, and with the 20 kg case the saving is even bigger. As it's natural pressed coconut charcoal, it keeps perfectly until you use it, as long as it's stored somewhere dry.
The packs come in the usual sizes, 26, 27 and 28 mm, which need to match your heat management device. If you'd rather buy a 1 kg box, you'll find it in coconut charcoal; to light it, see coal burners and heaters.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a 5 kg pack last?
It holds between 300 and 350 cubes depending on the size. At two or three per session, that's months of normal use.
Does charcoal go off?
No, but it absorbs moisture. Keep it closed and in a dry place, and it will light just as well a year from now.
Which size should I get if I'm not sure?
26 mm is the most widespread and fits almost all heat management devices. If in doubt, email us at info@bakkalistore.es with your HMD model.
To choose the right cube size, see heat management devices and foil, and the rest of the range is in charcoal and coal burners.
